Our children are all well. These very recent photos will attest to that.

Our school, like the others, had to close for awhile due to the unrest, insecurity, kidnapping, and violence. The school students and teachers all needed to be home with their families. HATS school, IMKH, had hoped to reopen this week, but due to protesting that is scheduled for Mon, Tue and Wed the opening is delayed a few days again.

There is a lot of stress in the lives of the precious people in Haiti as they endeavor to deal with all that is going on in their country.

Through it all Luckner continues to take good care of our children and everyone at the mission and sees that the school students are well taught. The work of the missed school days will be caught up.

I apologize for the delay in blogging. I will endeavor to do a short blog a week to keep you all up-do-date.

The mission HATS-Haiti is  ALL ABOUT THE  CHILDREN.

Blessings everyone.

Love

Karen

Thank you, thank you, thank you, and a thousand more thank yous, to Luckner and the staff at HATS for working day and night to manage the school and children’s home. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Many of us wish to return, and that too, is in our prayers.
Thanks Mama Karen for the wonderful update. It’s so wonderful to see the kids and how healthy and grown up they are (secretly, however, I don’t want them to grow up too fast!)
    much love Beate
