HATS Haiti

Hands Across the Sea, a Christian mission with an orphanage and school in the Artibonite Valley of Haiti requires a mature married couple with a desire to serve God by assisting the present leadership team in the daily operation of the mission. Knowledge of French would be an asset but is not required. A willingness to learn Creole is essential. Duties would include basic handyman and repair work as well as general office work. Bookkeeping experience is an asset. A love for children, strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills are essential. This position requires a one-year initial commitment, with opportunity for a long-term commitment for the right couple. Housing is provided but the couple must raise their own missionary support.
